Quicken 7.10

Quicken Inc. has issued version 7.10 of Quicken Classic for Mac with a new online backup option (available as a separate subscription). The release also adds automatic Zillow updates to keep property estimated market values current (available only in the Premier and Business & Personal subscription tiers) and introduces a new Capital Gain Estimator that creates stock sales scenarios to estimate net proceeds and tax implications. This is the final Quicken release to support macOS 11 Big Sur. ($59.88/$83.88/$119.88 annual subscriptions, free update for subscribers, 3.2 MB installer download, release notes, macOS 11+)

  1. A note on their website says that some users are unable to open their data files after upgrading to 7.10 or 7.10.1; and that as they work on a resolution they are seeking input from users who experienced this.

    Glad I did not blindly go for the update.

  2. Whew! Did not know about the issue, but fortunately I’ve had no problems on either 7.10 or 7.10.1.
