Rogue Amoeba has issued SoundSource 6.0.4, updating the audio control utility to be more responsive during launch and when the system output device changes. The release also updates the audio-handling ARK plugin to version 13.0.3 to prevent a rare loss of audio, revises the Get Device List shortcut to include available AirPlay devices, addresses a macOS bug that could cause a slowdown in network performance when scanning for available AirPlay devices, makes several improvements to popovers throughout the app, ensures meters correctly continue to animate when menus are opened, and ensures a change to the system’s accent color is applied to a selected source’s background as expected.
