TextExpander 8.4.3

TextExpander has published TextExpander 8.4.3 with a refreshed interface design and a few new features for the text expansion utility. The release adds a new keyboard-driven command menu (Command-K) for navigating the app and jumping to common actions, adds a new Quick Actions shortcut (Command-0) that lets you replay the last snippet expansion, ensures fill-in windows honor system Dark mode, makes several accessibility improvements (including updated color contrast on buttons, form fields, and other interface elements to meet WCAG accessibility guidelines), and allows you to collect TextExpander logs from the Help menu with one click. TextExpander also introduces a new AI Recommendations feature in the Chrome extension that automatically suggests relevant snippets based on your on-screen context (TidBITS alum Josh Centers explains). Additionally, TextExpander is rolling out early access to a TextExpander MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that lets you read, create, and update snippets through natural conversation via ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot.
