Thunderbird 139

MZLA Technologies Corporation (a subsidiary of the Mozilla Foundation) has issued version 139 of its free Thunderbird email and productivity app with a few new features and a lengthy list of bug fixes. The release adds Mark as Read and Delete actions to mail notifications, enables you to sort folders manually in the folder pane, implements an enterprise policy to allow granular in-app notification control, fixes a bug that prevented links in the OAuth authentication window from opening when clicked, ensures that full folder sorting logic is used when inserting folders after move, resolves an issue that prevented correct insertion of IMAP folders after dragging a folder to a new parent, fixes a bug that prevented chat accounts from being deleted, and eliminates a few crashes. (Free, 136.9 MB, release notes, macOS 10.15+)

  1. Overall, the update is fine, but if you had been using the more traditional “Table view” as your default view, T139 changes it to “Cards view” without asking.
