Tinderbox 11.0

Eastgate Systems has released version 11 of its Tinderbox note-taking assistant, bringing AI integration and a new Information City visualization. Tinderbox can now interact with Claude Desktop and other AIs to examine Tinderbox documents and revise them. Turn on Enable AI Integration in the Tinderbox Menu; enable or disable AI integration in specific documents using a checkbox setting in Document Preferences > General.

The upgraded Tinderbox also introduces the new experimental Information City view, which represents Tinderbox notes as small buildings in a townscape, corrects misbehavior in the URL button in columns of attribute browser, allows badges to be dragged from notes to other notes in map and outline views, retains the original text size and styles when importing from Notes, and corrects a long-standing but very intermittent crash in the change update system. Tinderbox is priced at $289 (with a full year of free updates), and owners of previous licenses can upgrade to version 11 for a one-time charge of $98. Alternatively, you can choose an annually recurring subscription for $83 to extend access to updates.
