Tinderbox 11.7

Eastgate Systems has released version 11.7 of its Tinderbox note-taking assistant with significant infrastructure improvements. The update does a lot of polishing to remove glitches and enhance performance, including improving Note > Explode speed when creating thousands of notes, adding more Find options (plain text, regular expressions, and diacritic-insensitive matching), adding more contexts for Find results, and improving the Preview pane. Tinderbox 11.7 updates the Info pane with a new display that reflects the connection status of the MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, adds new capabilities to the Command Bar (including a better fuzzy pattern matcher based on an algorithm for genomic search), adds new actions that enable you to align notes in the map and createTextLink from one note to another, ensures autocomplete works more reliably in the attribute picker, corrects an additional export problem when using an HTMLPreviewCommand, and ensures Markdown export now correctly interprets bold, italic, superscript, subscript, strikeout, and code font.
