Typinator 8.12.1

Ergonis has released Typinator 8.12, adding full support and compatibility with macOS 12 Monterey and M1-based Macs while maintaining compatibility with older macOS releases back to 10.10 Yosemite. The text expansion utility also works around an expansion problem in Airtable, no longer limits expansions in TeamViewer to 200 characters, adds an option for expanding abbreviations in Raycast’s search field, fixes incorrect cursor positioning in the Microsoft Edge and Brave browsers, improves handling of internal scripts in certain corner cases, and fixes a potential issue with certain Unicode characters in Quick Expansion. Shortly after this release, Ergonis issued version 8.12.1 to add some missing Apple silicon code. 1. Moving from Text Expander, and their expensive subscription model, to Typinator was the BEST move I have ever made.
In fact, I think Typinator works much better than Text expander ever did.

  2. Am I correct in noting that Typinator has no iOS app? That, unfortunately makes it a non-starter for me.
