Mactracker 8.2

Ian Page has released Mactracker 8.2, a small maintenance update for his popular encyclopedia of Apple products with one delightful surprise—Mac trivia! Head to File > Trivia (or press Command-T) to start a set of 15 trivia questions that dig deep into Apple history, such as:

  • When was the iPod first released?
  • What was the last version of the Classic Mac OS to support non-PowerPC processors?
  • When was the last CRT Apple display discontinued?

Your score appears in the bottom right of the Trivia popover as you move through the questions, and you can restart once you finish the 15 questions. Beyond the Apple knowledge test, the update also adds details on the latest OS releases and updates support status for Apple’s latest Vintage and Obsolete products.
