Apple has released Safari 11.1.2 for OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan and macOS 10.12.6 Sierra to address several WebKit-related vulnerabilities (10.13.6 High Sierra also includes the Safari update; see “Apple Releases macOS 10.13.6, iOS 11.4.1, tvOS 11.4.1, and watchOS 4.3.2,” 9 July 2018). The update improves WebKit memory handling to prevent maliciously crafted Web content from executing arbitrary code and resolves an inconsistent user interface issue that could lead to address bar spoofing. Safari 11.1.2 is available only via Software Update. (Free, release notes, macOS 10.11.6 and 10.12.6)
