Apple Expands Business Chat

Since unveiling its iMessage-based Business Chat service for communicating directly with participating companies (see “iOS 11.3 Adds Battery Health Screen and Much More,” 29 March 2018), Apple has added several businesses: American Express, Aramark, Dish, Four Seasons, and Harry & David. Business Chat now also integrates with several business platforms: Cisco, eGain, Kipsu, Lithium, and Quiq, which will make it easier for more firms to adopt Business Chat. Business Chat lets you use Messages to communicate with customer support through links in Maps, Safari, and other apps.
